two different walks to chose from - or do BOTH!

Volksmarch (10K walk)

Register anytime between 8:00–11:00AM. Finish by 2:00PM. Traverse a well-marked route through the downtown area, River greenway, and neighborhoods of Fort Wayne. The walk begins and ends at the Festival Tent. Sponsored by the Three Rivers Strollers Walking Club and the American Volksport Association. The Volksmarch is for families, youth groups, singles, couples, old and young. Stamp books and medals will be available upon completion of the walk.

Fort Wayne Visionwalk (5K walk)

The Foundation Fighting Blindness will hold a 5K Visionwalk with registration beginning at 9AM and the walk beginning at 10AM. Join Dr. Kathleen McCabe from the Cataract & Laser Institute, Dr. Gohar Salam from Vitreoretinal Consultants, and Germanfest's own Mark Critchfield as we help raise critical research dollars.
