Join Ft Wayne’s finest and Gera’s visiting police officers for a friendly sister city competition. We will see which team can pull this Bear Cat further faster!
Bragging rights and an awesome trophy are on the line in this new event.
Join Germanfest at the lower level of Headwaters Park for the action, can also be viewed from the pavilion overlook!

grassy area (Enter off Superior Street behind the Bud Meeks Justice Center).

Got Lederhosen?  Wear ’em!  If not, create your own!  Sign up early to make sure you get to strut your stuff!  Sign up at the Information Booth just inside the festival entrance or email our webmaster at www.germanfest.org.

Polka and Baseball

Time:  6-6:30 pm

Location:  Parkview Field/TinCap Baseball Stadium – outdoor amphitheater.  Located inside the W. Jefferson Blvd. stadium entrance near the tall New Bloom flower sculpture.   What does Polka and a Baseball game have in common?  A good BEAT!  Join the TinCaps pre- game to “catch” a concert performed by a 25-member student accordion orchestra visiting from Fort Wayne’s Sister City – Gera, Germany!  The Akkordeon Jugend Orchester Osterland will warm up the fans with lively polkas, waltzes and familiar pop tunes.  Go Caps!
